The staff of C.S. Bowyer Funeral Directors in Wiltshire represented by Stephen Bryant, Ben Tylee and Harry Hamlin, participated in the annual Pancake race across Bradford On Avon’s Town Bridge on Tuesday 4th March 2014.

Congratulations to Stephen, only in his second week of employment with the Company, sprinting to first place, keeping his Pancake in the pan throughout the race and across the finishing line.

Ben would have been in with a chance of coming within the top 3 too but when flipping his pancake it dropped to the floor and was soon devoured by one of the locals dogs.

Stephen won an engraved frying pan which was presented to him by Mayor John Potter. Stephen can keep this trophy for the year, it will then be handed over to the winner of 2015. Stephen also won a pancake tea for 4 which he thoroughly enjoyed after all that running around.

Congratulations to all those who took part and thank you to Denise Hamlin for organising the day.
